Short Bio
Wang Jiangyu
Professor Wang Jiangyu is Professor of Law and Director of the Centre for Chinese and Comparative Law at the City University of Hong Kong School of Law. Before joining CityUHK, he held a tenured appointment at the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law, where he served as Director of the Asian Law Institute and founding Deputy Director of the Centre for Asian Legal Studies.
His teaching and research cover international law and international relations, international economic law, comparative law, company law, securities regulation, and law and development in China. He has served as an invited expert or speaker for the WTO, International Trade Centre, UNCITRAL, and UNESCAP.
Professor Wang is Editor-in-Chief of the Asia Pacific Law Review and Joint Editor-in-Chief of The Chinese Journal of Comparative Law, published by Oxford University Press. He has authored and edited books and published widely in English and Chinese journals, newspapers, and magazines.
